Recitals are a wonderful way for students to share their technical progress and express their artistry. Thank you for being here to support your dancer!

Owned and operated by Theresa Knudson, BlackBox Studios offers dance classes (both in person & Zoom), private lessons, studio rental , and is home to professional dance companies Halcyon Dance Project and Ballet22.

Peter and the Wolf is a beloved symphonic fairy tale, intended to help children learn the instruments of the orchestra. The score was composed by Sergei Prokofiev in 1936 in Moscow, Russia. The musical score is accompanied by a narrator who first introduces each character along with the musical instrument they represent. Together the narrator and orchestra tell the tale of Peter and the Wolf. The version performed tonight is a shortened version choreographed by Theresa Knudson, without narration.
